Maldivian, the national airline received the Airlines Reliability Performance Award for Outstanding Dispatch Reliability 2013 in the Oceania category, an award by Canadian multinational aerospace and transportation company, Bombardier Inc.

The award was received by the Managing Director, Abdul Haris on behalf of Maldivian at a ceremony held today at Island Aviation Services’ head office.

The Airline Reliability Performance Award is presented to the airline that holds their dispatch reliability at the 99 percent mark, with a minimum of technical faults throughout the year. 

It is a great honour to be selected for such an award, especially from a number of competitors in the Oceania region that fly Dash 8 model aircrafts. This is the third time Maldivian has received this award.
