Island Aviation Services Ltd (IASL) was instituted by Presidential decree with the mandate to manage and operate the airline of Maldives. Island Aviation Services Limited established in 2000 is wholly owned by the Government of Maldives and is based in the capital Male’.  Our brand, Maldivian also the national airline of the country operates inter-island services within the county as well as international services to India, Bangladesh Thailand and China from its main hub at Velana International Airport.

Island Aviation Services Ltd (IASL) was incorporated as a 100% government owned company under the Companies Act of Maldives. To meet the challenges, Island Aviation Services Ltd is committed to providing the highest possible levels of service to its principal airlines and passengers by use of automation, modernization and with a trained and motivated team of staff that form an integral part of the business.

The company started with a business efficiency programme, which is essential to building success. It will contribute to the business, annual financial efficiencies and signal to the airlines and to the general public that Island Aviation Services Ltd is a vibrant business with exemplary service to its principal airlines and their passengers.
