In reference to the circular below by the Ministry of Tourism, please be informed that effective 9th May 2021, work permit holders from South Asian countries will not be permitted entry into the Maldives as part of precautionary measures by the Maldives government to curb COVID-19 cases in the country.

However Maldivian will continue to operate its flights from Dhaka, Trivandrum & Cochin to Male to facilitate travel for outbound passengers and locals coming back to the Maldives.
