Kudahuvadhoo is the capital of Dhaalu Atoll and is located at the southern end of the atoll. Kudahuvadhoo , where fishing is the main occupation comprises of around 3200 in population.  Some of the landmarks of this beautiful island is the old mosque which is renowned for its craftsmanship especially for its coral stone carvings and masonry. Several resorts are around the island and a domestic airport was opened in May 2017 to cater to the local demands as well as that of the tourists traveling to the resorts and guest houses around the region.
