GDS Guidelines and Policies
Maldivian values your partnership in our business. This document outlines Maldivian’ booking and ticketing practices aimed at reducing unproductive distribution costs and preventing inventory spoilage. Therefore, Maldivian will monitor all transactions to detect any booking irregularities or practices that do not align with our GDS policy, as well as any transactions violating laws, regulations, or industry standards applicable to GDS, including Maldivian Agency Debit Memo Policy and relevant IATA resolutions such as 830a, 824 and 723.
This policy applies to all GDS subscribers, including travel agents (both IATA and non-IATA, domestic and international), and any individual or entity accessing Maldivian’ content via the Internet, Global Distribution System, or any other electronic means. GDS subscribers are responsible for ensuring that all their employees, agents, and subcontractors across all locations are familiar with and adhere to this policy.
