Funadhoo in Shaviyani atoll is situated in the eastern edge of Miladhummadulhu isle and is among the largest inhabited islands in the North Maldives. The atoll is enjoyed for its tranquility and the calm waters of the beautiful coves that surrounds it.  A domestic airport was opened in February 2020 to cater to the local demands as well as that of tourists traveling to the region.
