Maldivian commenced scheduled flights to Maafaru International airport today. The event held at  Maafaru Internationalairport was officiated by the Planning Minister Honorable Mr. Mohamed Aslam. Other government officials, Island Aviation staff and residents from the atoll were in attendance at the event. This airport is also managed by Island Aviation and is the 4th airport added to our airport portfolio. Maldivian will operate daily flights from its hub VIA to Maafaru and the flight time is about 40 minutes.
