With reference to the Gazette Number: IAS/MIS/2025-1062 published by our company on 7 April 2025, please be informed that the requirement mentioned therein is being re-announced.

Island Aviation Services Ltd is seeking eligible proponents to submit their proposal for N. Maafaru International Airport Terminal Extension Through Contractor Financing Project as outlined in the Request for Proposal (RFP) document.

We hereby invite eligible proponents to submit their expression of interest for the project briefly detailed below. 

Project name: Construction of Maafaru International Airport Terminal Building Extension through Contractor Financing 

Contract type: Contractor Finance Turnkey Project. 

Scope. The scope of work of this project is to be completed in two stages

Stage – 1: Completion of construction of Two storey Terminal building (new building) as per the detail design provided. 

Stage – 2: Alteration and additions of internal works of the existing single storey terminal building which is to be combined to two storey building. 

Interested parties are requested to submit their completed Expression of Interest (EOI Form) included with this announcement. Deadline for EOI registration is 16 May 2025, 23:59hrs Maldives time (Time difference to GMT is +5 hours).

Building Statistics – Proposed Two storey Building

9	Vertical transportation	Two stairs with 11 passenger machine room less lift (one lift)

11	Operational Equipments	All equipments required to opera the building including PA system to be provided by the contractor
12	Furniture and fittings	All loose and fixed furniture shown in the drawing to be provided by the contractor.
13	Building signage	All required standard signage are to be provided by the contractor. Signage would be selected from the catalogue attached with this information sheet
	MEP requirements	Mechanical , Electrical, Plumbing , Air-conditioning , Fire Fighting & Fire Alarm system , lightning protection system, CCTV and Access Control system is to be installed as per the drawing provided.

 Building Statistics – Alteration and additions of interior works of existing single storey building

4	Alterations and additions	New internal walls are to be built as per the new layout provided.
5	Interior walls (new)	Sound proof partitions walls with designed wall panelling at specified areas and remaining areas with putty and paint finish as shown in the drawing.
6	Internal floor finish	High End carpet flooring at specific areas (VIP Lounges) and remaining areas affected tiles area only required to be replaced with existing floor finish tile type.
7	Interior ceiling	Designed panel ceiling at specific areas.
8	Building Interior	Building interior to be completed as per the interior design provided
9	Operational Equipments	All equipments required to opera the building including PA system to be provided by the contractor
10	Furniture and fittings	All loose and fixed furniture shown in the drawing to be provided by the contractor.

This Project is a lump sum project with priced Bills of Quantities (BOQ). Project price will be changed only if there is any design modification issued. 

It is intended to start the construction work soon after awarding of the bid. Detailed Bid documents would be issued to interested parties only.
